The White Planes picture co. take spectacular photos and video of all things aviation, but particularly gliding. The aim of the web site is to provide an in your face portfolio of their work, and to enable potential clients to get in contact.

Clients are wide ranging, from The Boeing Company, to aviation magazines, to WH Smith, and even the United States Marine Corps, most of them coming via the web site.

The images are the product, so it is important to ensure that the image quality is kept up, yet with so many images, finding the balance between quality and download speed is critical.
